It’s about election security

The 2020 presidential election is over. Many believe it was stolen. I agree, though not in the ways many are saying, as I’ve written before. But it’s over. It’s not going to be reversed, and there are probably very few people who might change their opinion on it, no matter what they hear or what proof they’re offered. Certainly, we should learn from what happened to ensure it can’t be repeated, but that brings me to the point: Conservatives should be talking about future election security, not past potential election compromise. If everyone is interested in fairness and allowing…

Sunday digest: 3-7-21

Thank you for sharing some of your valuable time to read The Bubbler. The Bubbler now contains more than 700 thought-provoking posts about conservatism. While there are hundreds of sites that report or comment on the news from a conservative perspective, this is the only place the explores who conservatives are, what they think, and why they think it. Working in mysterious ways

I’ve been predicting a Trump blow out landslide for months. To anyone who would listen. To me, it was an absolute certainty. On what grounds? God’s will. Justice. The rise of black, latino, and women voters. The work of the Trump team’s ground game. The rallies. The record of success. The lack of Biden enthusiasm. RBG: The case against early voting

Now do you understand why early voting is a mistake? There are many reasons why early voting is a bad idea, and any one of them alone makes the case strongly enough to end the experiment. Here’s a few… Most obviously, you never know what will happen between the day you vote early and election day. Who saw the death of Ruth Bader Ginsberg coming? (Although, anyone paying attention to 2020 should have been able to guess that anything that can happen, will happen.) RBG’s death opens the door to a Supreme Court pick for President Trump and the…

Voter fraud: Let me count the ways

There’s no practical way to prevent, 100%, voter fraud. So long as there are bad actors who are willing to try, there will inevitably be some voter fraud. Our only choice is to do our best to minimize it. Everyone should strongly share a desire to minimize voter fraud and keep it out of our elections. However, that’s not the case. What could possibly be the incentive of those who are advocating systems that increase the likelihood of voter fraud? It’s hardly a stretch to think they’re probably interested in either enabling and committing voter fraud or creating the…
