Building up criminals, tearing down heroes
I’ve written a fair amount about the propensity of the black community tear down successful blacks if they appear at all conservative. Many would rather tear down and mock a successful black person, if they’re conservatives, than build them up as an example of what’s possible for every member of the black community. Let me see if I have this straight: Black people who engage in the capitalist system and wind up successful, especially if they’re known conservatives, are often mocked and considered sell outs to the black community. As we see again and again, those who refer to conservatives as “science deniers,” or who always talk about looking to the science, are once again ignoring the science as the protests go on and on. Politics is no place for children
Kids are going to have their whole lives to engage in, or avoid, politics and all the things that go with it: rallies, protests, arguments, discussions, forums, university clubs and classes, pressures to do this or that from family, friends, and even the companies for which they work.
