Consider one of Martin Luther King, Jr’s most well-known “dreams”: One day we will judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character. It’s easy to see where we are now. As far as opportunity and voice in society, the black community has never had it better in the United States. If you look worldwide, they’ve got it better than blacks anywhere else on the earth.
