Today, candidate for President, Joe Biden, had this to say about women who want to work in this country:

“The hard truth is women — and particularly women of color — have never had a fair shot to get ahead in this country. That’s why today, I’m releasing my plan to make sure women can fully participate in our economy and country.”

As is getting entirely way too predictable, another Democrat makes a blanket statement, lumping an entire gender together, to say they’ve all been oppressed and prevented from pursuing their happiness.

(Ironically, about the only group you can reliably make blanket statements about because they all really say and do the same things is Democrat politicians.)

This is one of the bigger problems conservatives have with Democrats. It’s one grievance after another, with no resolution in sight.

Nevermind the millions of successful women in all areas of the workforce. (Heck, I had a marketing class in college where I was one of three men in a 30 person class.)

More globally, Democrats have spent the last 50 years telling blacks that all whites are racist and working night and day to keep blacks down. They tell women that white men are working in labs across the country to keep them out of jobs or pay them less than men, while sexually harassing them every step of the way. They tell kids that evil corporations are destroying the environment and that the world will be uninhabitable in 9 years, 62 days, 5 hours, and counting… And so these people grow up believing this.

It goes on and on. And what it does is create victims.

I think it’s criminal to put people in these mental prisons that keep them from reaching their true potential.

Life is full of obstacles. It always will be, even if the world is filled with nothing but love and rainbows. There are always challenges to be overcome. And when you have goals, there are going to be all sets of setbacks and unexpected turns along the way.

It’s overcoming the obstacles that makes the accomplishments so great.

Blacks are told they don’t stand a chance. Guess how many black millionaires there are in the United States? You’d have to say none, right, based on all the white people actively working against them. And since white people are in control, there should be none.

But no, there are 1.5 million black millionaires. That’s out of 18.6 million millionaires in the United States. Sure, blacks make up about 13% of the total population, give or take. But that’s not the point.

The point is that there’s a path. Blacks are succeeding. They are running companies. They are making a cultural impact. With so many examples, why do the Democrats continually tell everyone how there’s nothing but racism as far as the eye can see. How does this serve the black community?

That’s the real racism. The Democrat message aims to keep blacks down and defeated. And the only way they can make it is with the help of Democrats. It’s criminal.

And what happens when a black person makes it? Depending on who they are, they’re an “Uncle Tom,” a “coon,” or a sell out to whites. How does that help the black community. Not only do you tell them they can’t make it with all that racism, but now you impose humiliation if they do make it.

It’s a wonder the black community doesn’t completely hate white people, after decades of Democrats telling them how horrible white people are.

If we really want to serve everyone equally, we should all be working on inspiring people to be the best they can be and help give them a road map of how to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.

Everyone has potential, and there’s a system in place that everyone can work in, or work around, to achieve their dreams.

This doesn’t mean everyone will achieve their dreams. It doesn’t even mean everyone will access the system. But the opportunity is there, and we owe it to each other to support one another and lead with optimism and inspiration.
