Today, I was talking to a friend who works in a Wisconsin school district. She said they had been informed that they were going to start the school year with virtual classes and reassess on Thursday, November 5.
I thought I had heard this was the case elsewhere, so I searched “school reassess november 5” on Google.
Just looking at the first page of results, it appears at least Portland, Seattle, DC, Maryland, and Virginia will all be starting virtually and reassessing on November 4th, 5th, or 6th.
The running joke, especially among conservatives, has been not to worry about coronavirus, because it’ll be gone on Wednesday, November 4 – the day after the election.
The meaning is that the Democrats and mainstream news (redundant, I realize) are keeping this alive because they think it hurts President Trump’s reelection chances.
But it turns out, like so many other amazing, unbelievable, and incredible things in 2020, that it’s true.
Unless you expect me to believe that all of these school districts just happened to select a random Wednesday or Thursday in November and it just happened to be a day or two after the election.
Add to it the involvement of the teacher’s union, which is no friend to Trump or the parents and students it serves, and it becomes even more credible.
Combine that with Dr. Fauci’s inability to say out loud that protesting will lead to greater transmission of coronavirus, and I think the reality of the virus as a political weapon is starting to be revealed.
How stupid do they think we are? (Or, more importantly, how stupid are we…?)
