Trump stooge Alex Bruesewitz has been earning his keep by trying to tie Governor Ron DeSantis to every retread RINO he can think of, best summed up in this tweet:

The problem is that according to Trump, it was Trump who “got him elected.”

If I’m any study of logic, that means if DeSantis is bad, Trump is a poor judge of character.

When pressed on this, Bruesewitz said that DeSantis started out good, but then threw Trump under the bus. If that’s the case, Trump is still a bad judge of character.

Is this an exception?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Trump also supported and endorsed Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, Ronna McDaniel, Mitt Romney, and Mitch McConnell. That’s quite a list of RINOs.

Perhaps Trump is just 437 moves ahead of me on this and playing 9847D chess that I simply don’t understand, but Trump is cornered, as far as I can see.

He can’t criticize DeSantis. If he does, he’s just criticizing himself because he “got him elected,” which means anything DeSantis does is Trump’s fault.

Actions speak louder than words, and while Trump is out endorsing all the wrong bought-and-paid-for Republicans, DeSantis is creating orders and legislation that defangs the left.

Or perhaps I’m just too dumb to see it…
